I suppose this is old news by now, but I wanted to share some pictures from the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Awareness Walk. This event was in April and raised $20,000 for Our Voice, the Asheville women’s rape crisis and counsoling center. And it was really a light hearted way to bring awareness to domestic violence. I was there and saw how many MEN and women were willing to sling on a pair of stilettos and walk (or run) a mile around Downtown. I volunteered an act of support to the walkers by giving a free foot rub at the finish line. 
It was the least I can do. I want to recruit more estheticians and massage therapists to join me next year so we can support the 500 people who came out and walked!
